Haute-Garonne: Launch of the His-Castagnède Greenway (Véloroute V81)

The Department of Haute-Garonne opened in 2019 a new
Greenway of 8km between Roquefort-sur-Garonne and Salies-du-Salat, part of the Véloroute du Piémont Pyrénéen V81.
In January 2020 he starts the work of a second section of Voie Verte (Greenway), in the same valley and on the right-of-way of the same railway, between His and Castagnède, until the bridge of Lacave, boundary with the Ariège department. Length: 5km. Opening planned: June 2020.
The central part of Salies-du-Salat-Mane-His will be missing to have a continuous axis of 18km between Roquefort-sur-Garonne and Castagnède.
