Pau on a bicycle and the AF3V ask accesses for all to the footbridge of Mazères-Lezons (cycle route V81): and call for a demonstration on March 4th Departement: Pyrénées-Atlantiques Region: Aquitaine A footbridge intended for the pedestrians and for the cyclists, and for the passage of the Cycle Route V81, between Mazères-Lezons (left bank) and Bizanos (right bank) was created at the end of 2017. Left bank the access to the footbridge is made by a double staircase of very strong slope (superior to 50 %), with a slippery banister, without elevator. It excludes the use by families, bikers very in charge of, and people with reduced mobility. That is why Pau on a bicycle and the AF3V ask improvements (banisters with low slope, self-service elevator of good size (3mx2m), so that the crossing of the Mountain stream of Pau is accessible to all the inhabitants of the urban area, and to the bikers of theCycle Route Biarritz-Le Barcarès (V81).
