In 2016 the Department of Landes created a quasi-greenway which goes along the right bank of Adour on 11km, between St-Laurent-de-Gosse (crossroads D74-D12), in front of Urt, and Tarnos, in 3Km from Bayonne.
It is one section of the intended Euro-Véloroute EV3 that will cross Landes and will follow Adour between Dax and Bayonne.
Because of the difficult site, because the RD74 goes along Adour closely, between the dike and the houses, the works were important, and it is all the "division of the space" between road and greenway which was reorganized, with for objective to reduce the speed of automobiles and to create a parallel greenway.
This successful greenway, allows to discover in complete safety this part of the river said "maritime" .
