The AF3V asks for a cycle track to reach the Rivesaltes memorial museum

The Department of the Pyrénées-Orientales (Eastern Pyrenees) has just, in 2015, fitted out a Museum-memorial of the Camp of Rivesaltes, within the former " camp Joffre de Rivesaltes " (a military camp also used to detain civil populations several times between 1939 and 2007).
The AF3V asks that a cycle track is fitted out between Rivesaltes city and this Museum-memorial, on 3km, to allow biking accesses by the inhabitants and by the French and foreign touring cyclists who will be more and more numerous to pass nearby:
The Mediterranean Cycle Route (« Véloroute Méditerranéenne EV8 ») passes by the sea in Barcarès, in 14km, and intended Pyrenean Cycle Route (« Véloroute du Piémont Pyrénéen V81 »)
which will connect Bayonne with Barcarès, will pass to Rivesaltes, by coming from the Galamus Gorges, and by following the rivers of Maury and Agly.
The AF3V asks for the development of Cycle Route V81, with an antenna of 3km to reach the Rivesaltes memorial museum. See the map n°6 routes proposed by the AF3V in 2013.
